I have one custom field and I hide that field by using field level security. will that field will be available in search?
How can I test this I am trying to search this in setup--> on search box entering field name. Is this the correct way correct me if I am wrong.
Help me to understand Field level security, If I hide a field where it will be hide and where it will be accessed.

Here you go:
Field-level security doesn’t prevent searching on the values in a field. When search terms match on field values protected by field-level security, the associated records are returned in the search results without the protected fields and their values.
