#SFTechLounge What is the best way to get more information about the "Knowledge Search Activity" table?  Specifically the relationship between Duration, "Number of Searches" and the "Time Frame" box filter.

In the attached screenshot, is this the correct interpretation of the data:

  • On 8/7, 2 people searched "payroll services only" and got 115 results. Or maybe 1 user searched 2 times.
  • On 8/7, 3 people searched "employee check message".  They received 93 possible results, but one user selected the article Payroll User Guide.
  • So if multiple searches were done for either of these search terms (one on 8/7 and one on 8/8 as an example), should it show in two lines?
  • How does that change when you change to the Duration field to Montlhy?  Would it essentially add the two dailies together?  What determines what shows in Monthly?  When I change my criteria only display monthly, I drop from 1500 results to 5.  Would the search item have to be in every month within the "Time Frame" filter to display in the results? Or have more than one result in the number of searches?  How does this extend to using Yearly as the duration?

Let me know if this should be submitted as a ticket/case instead.

Thanks!
