Once a year, we create leads that we only convert into contacts if the prospects respond to our solicitation. In the past, we've had no issues following the instructions outlined here for NPSP to create and convert those contacts. https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.npsp_convert_a_lead_to_a_contact.htm&type=5
- We create Leads and put "Individual" in the company field
- We convert a contact using the standard button at the top (as well as some automation on apex codes)
- A new Contact is created in a Household account
However, now it is creating organization accounts named "Individual" and connecting the newly created contacts to them.
Has anyone else seen this bug recently, or are Lead Conversions working well for you? Is it an issue with NPSP being deprecated (or possibly out-of-date)? Have you had this issue and resolved it? I've tried a number of different ways to investigate/troubleshoot but can't figure it out.
