Hi everyone,
I’m working on a CRMA dashboard and I’m looking for some advice on how to handle multiple Product Families on Opportunities.
An Opportunity can have several Products/Product Families, so our field can contain values like “Nutrition; Health; Botanicals”. This creates messy filter values in the dashboard.
However, I can’t exclude these Opportunities because I need all Opportunities for accurate reporting.
What would be the best approach here? Should I create a separate Opportunity × Product Family dataset, use boolean fields, or is there a better CRMA solution?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Yes, splitting it into a separate Opportunity x Product Family dataset is the standard approach here. Use a recipe with the split transform to get one row per family, then faceting on that field gives you clean filter values while your main dataset keeps every Opportunity for accurate totals. Boolean fields work too if you only have a handful of families, but the split dataset scales much better.
