For Marketing Cloud Next Email Sending Essentials > Send an Email Campaign, when I go to select the Leads Segment and click Create, I get the following error: Hmm, that didn't work. Refresh the page and try again.
I've tried refreshing that page, and completely logging out/in and still the same error.
Anyone else faced this?

Hi Jesse,
This error usually comes down to one of these — worth checking in order:
- Segment setup — for MCN campaigns, the segment must be built on the Unified Individual object, in the default data space, and must be Published. If it was built directly on Lead, that's likely the issue.
- Pipeline order — make sure Identity Resolution was run and the Data Graph refreshed before the segment was created.
- Browser — try an Incognito window or disable ad-blockers; this generic error can also come from a blocked API call.
- Known flakiness — a few others hit this exact error on this same challenge and it went through after a few retries (some deleted and recreated the segment/flow once). So if 1–3 look fine, retrying is worth trying too.
If it's still stuck, logging a case with Trailhead Help with a screenshot + unit URL is the fastest way to get the actual backend error.
