I am getting a multicurrency conversion error while submitting a timecard. It says valid exchange rates not found for currencies and /or dates specified. I verified that there is an exchange rate for this date. Where else can I look?

This error usually isn’t just about the date having an exchange rate; it’s about which currencies Salesforce is trying to convert.
Check the following:
- All involved currencies. Make sure exchange rates exist for every currency used on the Timecard, related Project, Resource, or Cost Rate records — not just the Timecard currency.
- Date used for conversion: Salesforce uses the transaction date (often the Timecard date or Start Date), not today’s date. Verify rates exist for that exact date.
- Dated Exchange Rates vs. Advanced Currency Management: If Advanced Currency Management is enabled, confirm the rate exists in Dated Exchange Rates, not just standard rates.
- Inactive currencies: Ensure none of the currencies involved were inactive on that date.
Most commonly, the issue is a missing dated exchange rate for a related record’s currency, not the Timecard itself.
