Correct. Most of the people answering questions do not work for Tableau. Sometimes a Tableau employee, especially from the Community team, will respond to a question. It is unlikely you will get a date for a particular fix. Salesforce does have a page for known issues https://issues.salesforce.com/#f%5Bsfcategoryfull%5D=Tableau
