My Calculated field is as follows:
CASE [Interval]
WHEN "Day" Then {FIXED [User Id], [Day], [Month], [Year]: SUM([Total Duration]*[First Round 0/1])/60}
WHEN "Week" Then {FIXED [User Id], [Week], [Year]: SUM([Total Duration]*[First Round 0/1])/60}
WHEN "Month" Then {FIXED [User Id], [Month], [Year]: SUM([Total Duration]*[First Round 0/1])/60}
WHEN "Year" Then {FIXED [User Id], [Year]: SUM([Total Duration]*[First Round 0/1])/60}
END
When interval "Day" is selected it gives valid information. However "Week" does not give correct result. If I remove "Day" case from the field it works. Same with "Month"/"Year", both "Day" and "Week" should be removed to work correctly.
I don't understand why "Day"/"Week" alters the result when the parameter is selected to be "Month"/"Year".
Order of the case statements do not matter, I suspect it is related to the "fixed" dimensions.
Can anyone help please?
Would you be able to provide a sample packaged workbook? This will help us to better understand the structure of your data, the charts you’re trying to create, etc. We don’t necessarily need your real data, so if it’s confidential, perhaps you could try to create some fake data in a similar structure as your real data. Another option is to Anonymize your Tableau Package Data for Sharing.
