I have developed a dashboard in Tableau Desktop v.2024.2.8 that has uses navigation buttons to go between three levels of the dashboard: Overview, Landing, and Details. The navigation works just fine in the default layout but scrolls to the middle of the page in the mobile layout when navigating from overview to landing (It works just fine going from landing to details).
To fix the mobile layout overview to details scrolling issue, I have tried:
- switching from navigation button to filter actions,
- changing the default layout to Fixed (powerpoint)
- moving the containers in the mobile layout to start in the top left (xy=0).
After doing these three things, it works for the first time for one of the metrics I select on the overview page, but then it reverts when I try the same action again.
All I need to happen is the navigation take the user to the top of the page when they are navigating from the overview page to the landing page on their mobile phone.
