Hi, everyone! I inherited a #NPSP user that is tied to both integrations (yes, I know they should have their own integration user) and scheduled jobs (nightly rollups, report subscriptions etc) -- if I Freeze this user, will those break?

Will they also break if I change the username and/or password?

Thank you!

The point of Freezing a user is so you can prevent them from logging in via the UI while not being forced to make other data or configuration changes. The "will it break" question can only be answered by someone who reviews your org, the users, and the integration(s) directly and how they're set up. https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.users_freeze.htm&type=5

If you're talking about the NPSP scheduled jobs, it's easy to fix that. Just delete the jobs, then go to NPSP Settings and they should re-generate under your user.

Also note that freezing a user does not free up their license. Its only use case is to prevent that user from logging in giving you time to make the changes that should be made. They'll still get automated emails until you deactivate them.
