I'm trying to wrap my head around pricing for Agentforce and have a few doubts. Appreciate any clarification/feedback.

1. Is pricing for Agentforce-default (re-branded Einstein-copilot ) $2/conversation? So if every time an employee asks an email be drafted or retrieve the top-10 accounts, the meter ticks by $2? Or is the default agent's pricing for internal use by employees strictly based on 'Einstein Requests' as outlined here:

2. For SDR, if an email is first sent to a lead, does it count as a conversation and costs $2 regardless of whether or not the lead responds or does the conversation start if a lead responds to outreach?

Thanks.

Agentforce operates on a conversation-based pricing model, starting at $2 per conversation. https://www.winfomi.com/blog/salesforce-agentforce-pricing-service-sales

    https://breadwinner.com/agentforce-pricing-explained/

This applies to both external customer interactions and internal employee use cases.

For internal use cases (e.g., drafting emails, retrieving top accounts), the cost is primarily tied to

Einstein Requests, which are consumed when the AI processes tasks like generating content or retrieving data. Each request to the AI system (e.g., a prompt or query) counts as one Einstein Request, and the cost depends on the volume of these API calls

    Example

If an employee asks the default agent to draft an email, this would consume Einstein Requests, not necessarily a full conversation. However, if the interaction involves a multi-step process or a prolonged exchange, it could escalate to a full conversation, incurring the $2 fee

Pricing for SDR (Sales Development Representative) Agent

A conversation is counted when the Agentforce agent first responds to a user query or initiates an action (e.g., sending an email to a lead). https://www.salesforceben.com/10-questions-ahead-of-agentforce-general-availability/ Go to No.5 in the article

If the SDR agent sends an email to a lead, this

initiates a conversation and the $2 fee applies regardless of whether the lead responds. The conversation remains active until one of the above conditions is met

    Example

If the SDR agent sends an email and the lead does not respond within 24 hours, the conversation ends, and the $2 fee is charged. If the lead responds, the conversation continues, but no additional fee is incurred unless a new interaction is initiated.
