Hi All,
To preface, I have been a fan of Salesforce and Kryterion so far, even though the latter had a few issues, mostly technical, like restarting the exam, program crashing, not seeing the camera etc. Some time ago I lost another exam due to a technical issue, but I could retake it, so it was okay.
Today I attempted another certification that is on my to-do list, and I really wanted to get. Regardless, as I attempted my exam, even before I could start (after biometrics) I was kicked out saying Exam Suspended. As you know, I switched off all applications (with the force shut off in Kryterion). Am unsure what happened, and upon contacting Kryterion Support via chat as suggested by Webassessor, they told me it was due to a "malware detected". On my second talk with them (wanted more info for the Support Case), they could not provide a reason as to why I was suspended. My latest scan does not indicate any malware on my computer, but I am reinstalling just in case.
Now I am quite frustrated and scared, especially because I built and maintain a career within the Salesforce eco-system and I wanted to learn more in the future, get more certifications. I opened a Trailhead Support case, but they said it may take up to 30 days to respond or find out what happened.
Has anyone else met this, or a similar issue, or could provide some insight please?
Can I re-attempt the certification, or should I wait for the resolution of the Case?
Apologies, I am unsure what to do, and thank you in advance for the help.
