I am working with a customer that wants to have credit card donations run on the 1, 15, and 30 of the month. I currently have an oppty creating for pre-auth and when the card is charged. Right now I have pre-auth oppty set so the stage is pre-auth and the oppty is open. This means that is someone also chooses to cover the fees, I have 4 oppty creating for 1 donation.
My ideal situation would be that when the charge is completed, the open pre-auth oppty gets updated to closed won and the amount and close date is updated. If someone chooses to cover the additional fees, I would like for the additional fee to be a second payment under the main donation oppty. #Click And Pledge #NPSP
@Sarah Eppes Sorry, it is not possible to attach the additional fee to the main opportunity after the opportunity closed won. We cannot settle opportunities automatically when donors paid by credit card.
