I recently discovered a detail about the emclassic email templates. In my org we are also using custom Email field named ‘Email__c’ on the lead object apart from the Standard Email field. When trying to use the merge field ‘{!Lead.Email}’ on the template it is instead referring custome email__c field albeit I referred the standard Email field.
