I am hoping that you are able to
help me, as I am trying to create a custom MRR field to show this months MRR using opportunity product line items.
Using the Date & Term fields of the opportunity line item to say "IF the period between Date and Date + Term is equal to THIS YEAR and THIS MONTH then complete the following formula =QTY * Sales Price.
But it needs to also take into account that only line items with Y1, Y2, or Y3 in the Line Description into account when running this as these identify subscriptions.
I am not sure if I am shooting for the stars here or if it just seems more complicated than it is.
Would appreciate any direction or help with ways of achieving this!!

As we discussed - we created a field to calculate the MRR for each product on the Opp Product.
As well, we created an end date field on each product.
To ensure we can filter, we created a formula checkbox that looks at the product title to see if it is a licensing product.
Then, we created a formula checkbox that looks to see if the term of any product is active today.
Then with these fields we can sum all of the MRR fields in a report from all won opps that are licensing type and the product term is currently active.
