Is there a way to run a case history report based on the initial case owner. IE - Find how how many cases are initially going into our company's "unassigned" list view

Is there a way to run a case history report based on the initial case owner. IE - Find how how many cases are initially going into our company's "unassigned" list view

    Yes & no.  

     

    You can't do this out of the box but if you leverage process builder you can save the first owner name to a new custom field and then base the report on that going forward.
