Trying to find out a way to post chatter messages via data loader to send the following weekly update message for sales team. When we post this message it is not triggering an alert message to the user which is due to hyperlink issue which is posted as a normal text message.
"@AdamPrater, Please update the forecast for the week, Thanks for the support, Sales Forecasting Team"
please guide us to draft an HTML message to enable the mail trigger when the message is posted via data loader for mass messaging.
To post a Chatter message via the Data Loader that includes a hyperlink and triggers an email notification, you need to format the message as HTML
When importing the message, you'll need to use the "Body" field and ensure the data type is "Long Text Area (Rich)" or "Long Text Area
