We are working in apsona to create a document merge for year end giving statements. Some accounts have multiple gifts (opportunites) that have the same criteria, and the merge is only bringing over 1/4 opportunites. Any advise on how to get all 4 in the merge?

I'm having an issue with Mail Merge. I have a "Thank You" docx file with merge fields. There are many elements to the file such as a logo, signatures, and other graphical elements as well as a side list with Board members. If I choose to create a docx document merge, it works pretty well; the one exception is if the address of the individual takes up more than one line, then all the graphical elements at the bottom of the document are pushed down into another page. Perhaps someone can help me with this too.
The main problem is when I make the output format pdf, all the elements of the resulting merge are misplaced and the document no longer looks as it should. This same issue comes up with docx files when previewing them in an email attachment in Google Docs, which I think makes more sense, but it looks fine when downloaded and opened with word. Is there any known reason why this should be. Any help would be appreciated.

I am generating a report and I am pulling the names of the attachments from emails sent to Case. I was successful, except for when the email has multiple files attached. I tried to group within my table but that doesn't seem to be working. I'd appreciate any help! #Apsona Document Merge
We're exploring an Apsona trial right now and I was wondering if it is possible to nest sublists.
Particularly, we would like to merge documents on for multiple accounts that list their opportunities and each opportunity has a sub object to relate it to multiple campaigns, so we'd like to list the campaigns as a comma-separated list in one table row for each opportunity.
I found the documentation for a comma separated list (https://www.apsona.com/pages/sfdc/doc/doc-merge-combine-list-fields.html), but it doesn't mention whether it would work inside a table and when I tried it out I didn't see the list group option, just the table group option. So, I wanted to check if it is even possible to do that or if I just set it up wrong.

But to provide a bit of high level info:
Technically speaking, if you are truly trying to create a second sublist from a data source, that is nested under a parent sublist, that is nested under a Top Level object: you can't do this in Apsona. Apsona's sublists allow for a top level parent (ie: Account) with a child sublist (opportunity). But some creative ways around this are:

I am still struggling with a question that I brought to the Apsona Office Hours last Thursday.
I need to build an cross filter report in Apsona that only includes records where the child object does not match the criteria (an exception report).
I was able to create the report I am looking for natively in Salesforce but I cannot figure out how to create the report in Apsona.

Hi John,
I think your best method is to create a filter for contacts who have offline waivers in the last 365 days, then in your report add a filter where the contact id is not in that new filter. Let me know if you need more detail, I'd be happy to jump on a call to help.

Seeing her use the Settings>Merge Action menu to quickly clone and update a complex mapping for an End of Year report was sweet! @Dan Flanigan asking for some detail that we walked through in @NYC Nonprofit Community Group last week - if your client services org has named PDFs on a record related to a client contact record - you can use #Apsona Document Merge to select those PDFs by name match and append them to the end of your merge output. @Mic Reich and Hanna are establishing their Jedi Data skills as they build Year over Year reports for their internal team - varying oppt and contact fields to produce exclusion reports @Ezra Basom reviewed his use of Dedupe & Match and how his troubleshooting clarified how object dependencies and automations effect the merging process. Thanks for the tip about using a report as the data source for the sublist! Somehow I always skimmed over that part of the documentation. This totally solved my problem, and I'm looking forward to using that feature with other clients, too.
