I'm working through the Explore Agentforce Employee Agents on the Coral Cloud Resort project, on the "Help a Guest Out of a Soggy Situation" unit. Step 2 asks me to open the Employee Agent panel in the Coral Cloud Resorts app and select the Guest Agent, but there's no agent panel or utility bar anywhere in the app.
What I've already confirmed:
- Agentforce is toggled On (Setup → Agentforce Studio → Agentforce Agents, the master toggle at top shows On).
- In Agentforce Agents, Guest Agent shows Active (Customer Service Agent and General Agent are also Active; only Coral Cloud Agent is inactive).
- I'm in the correct Coral Cloud Resorts app (tabs include Reservations, Rooms, Bookings, Cases, Guest Reviews).
- I've hard-refreshed multiple times and viewed the app full-screen, no utility bar strip appears at the bottom of the window at all.
- The completed the prior enablement unit and earned its 500 points, so Agentforce enablement graded successfully.
What I've tried without success:
- Hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R) and waiting for full load.
- Ruling out the window being cut off, the bottom edge is fully visible, no strip is there.
My questions:
- Is there a permission set or user assignment the logged-in org user needs before the Employee Agent utility panel renders in the app? I'm logged in as the default admin/OrgFarm user.
- Is this a known provisioning issue with these Coral Cloud playgrounds, and if so, is there a fix other than getting a new org?
My org expires 9/3, so I'd prefer to fix this one rather than wait for a fresh org if possible.
Environment: Developer Edition custom playground for this badge, Lightning.

Hi Dan, great writeup. Direct answer to your question first: no, as the default admin (OrgFarm) user you already hold the access needed, there is no extra permission set to assign for the Employee Agent panel to appear, so that is not your blocker.
In this unit the agent is not a tab, it opens from the Agentforce icon in the app's utility bar (the strip along the bottom). No strip at all means the Agentforce utility item is not rendering, and the two real causes are:
1. The separate Einstein toggle. The Agentforce Agents master toggle you checked is not the same as the Einstein generative AI setting. Go to Setup, search Einstein (Einstein Setup or Einstein Generative AI), and confirm Turn On Einstein is enabled. The assistant utility will not render until that is on, and the unit calls this out too.
2. The utility item is missing from the app. If Einstein is on and the bar is still absent, add it: Setup, App Manager, find Coral Cloud Resorts, open the dropdown, Edit, then App Settings, Utility Items (Desktop Only), Add Utility Item, pick Agentforce (Assistant), which is labeled Einstein Copilot in some orgs, then Save. Reopen the app and the icon appears at the bottom-left.
Then click that icon, click the arrow next to the agent name to open Select Agent, choose Guest Agent, and Select.
