I am not able to create a login passkey required for by the new Salesforce Multi-factor authentication (MFA) rule. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to be a SF account owner to do so? We use Keeper to store passwords. I really need to access our SF account. I need information before I approach the boss for solutions. The boss and another co-workers are owners and they were able to add a Passkey for them. Please HELP. Thanks

    Hi ,

    Please check the following settings.

    1. From Setup, use the Quick Find box to find and select Identity Verification.
    2. Select Let users verify their identity with a built-in authenticator such as Touch ID or Windows Hello.

When phishing-resistant MFA is enforced, this setting applies only to internal users who don't have privileged permissions. For privileged users, passkeys are automatically enabled and can't be turned off.

    3. Save the change.

After you enable this setting, direct users to

these steps to register a passkey. Users can also choose to set up passkeys when they register MFA methods.
