Data Mapping B/w the Revenue Cloud Objects with Context Definations

Question

Hi , I need clarification on the data mapping between objects in Salesforce Revenue Cloud. For example, I created a custom field on both the Product and Quote Line objects and mapped the Product field to the Quote Line field. When I add a product using the Browse Catalog, the field is mapped correctly. However, if the Quote Line already exists and I click Reprice, the field is not updated. Is this the expected behavior?

I think you have missed the mapping in context definition for both sales transaction and product discovery can you please confirm data is being saved correctly on quote line

I just added my notes for mapping from Product2 into OrderItem or QuoteLineItem on another question but i'll paste it here too - this is how I was able to pass a value through from Product2 > OrderItem      Mapping a custom field from Product2 to OrderItem Created field on Product2 and OrderItem (Order Products) ProductDiscoveryContext (also called BrowseProductContext),  Under CategoryProduct create a new Attribute Context Tag  Save SalesTransactionContext   Under ProductDiscoveryContextMapping create a cross-context mapping from SalesTransactionItem context tag to CategoryProduct field Left-hand side SalesTransactionContext   Right-hand side Category Product (pre Spring '26) Ignore the arrow, the data is coming from the ProductDiscoveryConetxt to SalesTransactionContext This maps the data from the ProductDiscoveryContext to the SalesTransactionContext SalesTransactionContext Under OrderEntitiesMappingor, or QuoteEntitiesMapping depending on requirements Map from SalesTransactionItem Context Tag to OrderItem field on right-hand side   Data Flow:   Product → BrowseProductContext (ProductDiscoveryContext) → SalesTransactionContext - cross-context mappaing → SalesTransactionContext - OrderEntitiesMapping
