I'm trying to create a Prep Flow in Tableau Cloud but I can't find Amazon S3 in the list of connections, is it possible?

I did my Prep Flow in Tableau Desktop but for some reason is not recognizing the connection, so I want to give it a try using Prep in Tableau Cloud.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    @Adolfo Adolfo

    Probably, and what I recommend is to connect amazon athena to your s3 bucket, and then connect tableau prep/desktop to your amazon athena.

    https://aws.amazon.com/es/blogs/big-data/building-aws-data-lake-visualizations-with-amazon-athena-and-tableau/

    IMHO, I think the Tableau S3 connector uses API requests to connect to S3, IMHO this makes the connector slow, and sometimes it has an unexpected behaviour.

    Also, there are some issues with the S3 connector:

    If this post resolves the question, would you be so kind to "Select as Best"?. This will help other users find the same answer/resolution and help community keep track of answered questions. Thank you.
