Hi,

I'm trying to import a very simple csv file with only two columns containing latitude and longitude information into Tableau Public and then plot them on the map. There are over 2 million rows in this file. When I tried to connect the whole file, Tableau couldn't read it. But when I split them into smaller files with 500,000 rows, it worked. Is there a size limit or entries limit for the data source in Tableau? If so, can I somehow import multiple partial data and then append them to each other in Tableau? The file I was trying to import is attached below. I'm working with Tableau Public version 2019.2.1 64-bit on a Mac. Please help! Many thanks!

Tableau Public can't read csv files with too many rows? How to work around?

Public should be able to do 10 million rows at least (It might have been increased).

Are you getting an error, or it's just taking a long time ?
