Could you please advise how we can retrieve the device_type field from the “Who Has Seen This View”
data in Tableau Cloud?
We would like to identify whether each view was accessed from a desktop, tablet, or mobile device. The http_user_agent field is available in the Viz Load Times data source, but we would like to confirm whether device_type can be directly accessed or exposed from the “Who Has Seen This View” data.
Could you please share the required steps, data source, or permissions needed to retrieve this field?

I don't think device_type is included in any of the data sources provided with Tableau Cloud in the Admin Insights folder. We use that data to look at who is looking at what, and when, but not how.
