Hey @K S -- thanks for the feedback! I'd recommend writing to the team directly (feedback@slack.com) to report this, but I'd also recommend considering windowing your Activity feed. That's something I do myself. It won't trigger a 'ping' / notification per se, but by keeping the activity feed open as its own window, you can see the activity, namely, emoji reactions. To window your Activity feed, hover over bell icon for Activity, and you will see an icon showing 2 square shapes (see image below). Click that and your Activity feed opens in its own window!
