As announced, Google is phasing out third-party cookies starting Jan 2024. I know it might impact Open CTI integration, but I thought my Open CTI Adapter wouldn't be affected because it doesn't use any third-party cookie.

However, if I log into Salesforce Classic, the softphone page is not displayed properly.

This happens for Open CTI Demo Adapter, too.

Chrome third-party cookie restriction causes Open CTI softphone error on Salesforce Classic

I found that I could avoid it by doing one of the following:

1. Add the following sites to third-parry Cookie allow list

[*.]visualforce.com

[*.]salesforce.com

[*.]force.com

2. Add the following sites to CookiesAllowedForUrls of Chrome policy

[*.]visualforce.com

[*.]salesforce.com

[*.]force.com

Does anyone know why this happen?

Miki

Thank you for your quick response.

I think that is not the case because the Open CTI adapter I developed doesn't use third-party cookies.

That's why I have no idea to work around this issue by modifying CTI Adapter.

If I use Salesforce Lightning Experience, the softphone page is displayed properly.
