QUESTION: I would like to know more about the Program Management Module and whether it is suitable to use for a new service we will be piloting.

• Cohort style/need to be able to track who is attending and how often they are attending

• Recommend installing PMM into the sandbox to play around
• Write down your requirements in the form of user stories, then you can be more objective about how PMM would meet your objectives

QUESTION: Working towards admin certification, what to do?

• Focus on force

QUESTION: 5 API integration licenses - how to use these?

• Create a unique username in the form of an email address (can make it up)

• When you create the user assign them the integration user vs the salesforce license

QUESTION: I was wondering if you can go through Affiliated contacts. What it is and how best practice to use this. Still do not quite get it

• Use case: have monthly recurring donations and companies who are big donors, but when they work with the companies, they want to add contacts, but in some cases, they are already private donors, but they want to ensure they are getting the right comms/updates

• Best practice: Choose which one will always trump the other (ex the household), when youre on the contact record, the account would be their household, but they might also have a workplace affiliation; cannot add affiliation as a primary contact

QUESTION: Best practice usage of campaigns. We currently have way to many campaigns in our system, taking up to much space.

• This has been a great guide for me.
• Is it normal to have donations tied to campaigns?

• If youre close to your campaign limits, you might need to rethink, but unless theres an issue, keep doing what youre doing!
• Might want to put limits in place (ex 6 month worth of data then archive)

QUESTION: Gift Aid management I am having huge issues with - some ideass from others would be great :)

• Looking at pledged donations vs received
• Gift aid will be anticipated until it arrives in the account
• Cant see anticipated, can only see received and hard to anticipate for reporting
• Maybe look at give clarity and see how the app is structured, that could improve their own custom build
