@Kelly Kelso, To attempt a CRM Analytics badge, you'd need to sign up for a CRM Analytics Enabled Developer Edition via developer.salesforce.com/promotions/orgs/analytics-de and connect it under your Hands-on Orgs page - https://trailhead.salesforce.com/users/profiles/orgs.
This would also be mentioned in the module itself: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/wave_analytics_basics/wave_start_surfing_the_wave
Scroll down until you see the Try CRM Analytics with a Developer Edition org section.
