I am trying to create a new Role in the Understanding Roles hierarchy. But it is not giving me the option to Add Role (like it does in other playgrounds). What must I do to change this?

Please Check your Profile,And　youmust  have permissions "To create, edit, and delete roles" https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=sf.admin_roles.htm&type=5
