How do I change the System Administrators identity verification to send to email rather than SMS? Our System Administrator account is the only user I have. It will not allow me to select the “Email-based Identity Confirmation Option” option.

    You cannot edit this in Standard Profile,so you need to clone the profile or Create Permission set to enable Email-Based Identity Verification Option .Assign Permission set to user

     

    I would suggest you to Create Permission set to enable this option.Like this,

    Custom Profile:

     

    Setup | Manage Users | Profiles (Custom Profiles) | System Permission, select Email-Based Identity Verification Option

     

     

    Permission Sets:

     

    Setup | Manage Users | Permission Sets | New permission sets with Email-Based Identity Verification Option enabled and assigned to the user.
