My contacts are not syncronizing with Outlook properly

I have the most recent version of Salesforce for Outlook installed. I have about 5500 contacts on outlook but about 900 are "private", which I don't sync to SFDC, so about 4600 there. I have about 150 calendar items which I do synch private items with. I don't sync tasks.

 

When I add an appointment on Outlook it wont sync to SFDC but the other way works. \

 

The Contact conduit seems to be working properly.

 

Any ideas on what I need to look at?

    Hi,

     

    I do not remember the exact steps.

     

    Somewhere in the configuration of your Salesforce for outlook, you can specify the typeof Sync. 

     

    1. SFDC to Outlook only

     

    2. Outlook to SFDC only

     

    3. both ways.

     

    please set them correctly, that should solve this problem.
