How do I determine what the Account ID is

I am trying to import data using the Apex data loader. The info is related to "Contracts" area much of which are custom feilds I created. When I load the file I get to a point where I must map my column headers(Feilds) in the CSV file to Labels that are available.  I originally tried to use Account name since that was common in the Contract layer but it is only showing "AccountId" as a reference.  When I search for Account id to determine how to map the fields too within salesforce it comes back none found.  How to I determine what the AccountId is associated with my Account names?

You cannot search for Account ID. You can go to an account by appending it to the url. For e.g. home page of myinstance is https://na8.salesforce.com/home/home.jsp

and I want to go to this acccount id 001C000000vA2ji

So, I'll use url https://na8.salesforce.com/ 001C000000vA2ji
