Creating a report with filters - of which one is a custom picklist. Is there a way to have the custom picklist be a drop down on the report to choose one, or more values to filter on? Currently it is not showing the picklist value, so I have to type in the item I am looking for and it only lets me choose one, not multiple.

If your field is a picklist data type, using it as a filter should show you a list of all the values defined and active for that picklist. Then you can click on one or more of those values to filter on. Double check to make sure you are referencing the correct field in your report - maybe there is something similarly named on the same object or any other object that has fields present in that report type.
