Rick, one other thing to check...since you are importing data from a different Salesforce instance.... check to make sure that any fields (or picklist values) that you may wish to import with the Contacts from the Europe system, exist in the org you're importing to. For example, say there's a region picklist field or status picklist field and you want to import that as well. 1st make sure the field exists in your target org. 2nd, make sure any picklist value that you want to import exists as a value in your target org. Can save a lot of headaches! :-)
