Fellow face-palmers, if you have ever felt the pain of creating another 50 fields that already exist on an object ... just because the special snowflake team needs their own personalized help text ... please consider up-voting this Idea to potentially vary Help text by Record Type. Thanks!!

Please vote up my idea to enable people to see the date they completed their Trailhead badges.
I have today again been asked to provide details of any training I've done in the past 12 months and I'm having to guess (you'd think I'd have learnt to keep track by now...)
It seems common sense to me that people would want access to this information, and Trailhead team have said they do collect it in the background.
VOTE IT UP
7 de out. de 2016, 06:39 I got an update today from a PM. The new Trailhead profile feature (rolling out in a few weeks) will expose the badge earn date. #Safeharbor
Hello Everyone,
I've created a new group that I'd like for you to check out and use, @SF IdeaExchange Collaboration. I noticed that there was not a place in the Community dedicated to the promotion of Ideas, so I decided to create one. The purpose of the group is to promote any idea on the IdeaExchange and give you a one-stop-shop for seeing exciting, crucial, awesome, or just plain bad ideas that would make a better joke than an idea. There's not much there right now (unless if the only thing you're looking for is Process Automation), but I'd like it to become a center of innovative thinking in the Success Community. Practically any idea is welcome.
See you there!
Regards,
Parker Edelmann
13 de set. de 2016, 17:20 I don't always want to use True to the Core for just any idea. The stated purpose of True to the Core is to post ideas and other things that relate to the #core. Things like reusing Process Builder Actions isn't necessarily core functionality, but it'd be pretty nice to have. I will agree, there can be quite a bit of overlap, I view True to the Core as critical functionality that needs some work or must be invented, so not every idea belongs in that group. Does that make sense?
Evening all,
I may be missing something, but are there such things as Trail Completion badges? Grinding badges is fun, but I'm not sure my LinkedIn profile won't look a bit odd when I get 20+. I know I could pick and choose, but it would be nice to be to have an 'Admin - Intermediate' Trail Complete Badge, or similar.
Or is there one and I've missed it somehow?
21 de ago. de 2016, 06:27 I'm getting to that point as well. Maybe if we could just link our badges earned page somehow.
@Automated Workflow @Salesforce Flow Automation @Salesforce Process Builder @* Salesforce Administrators * I am looking for options to display a better error message to our end users, we have a few Process flows that are giving end users the general Flow definition error. For instance, we have a Process that updates multiple cases when a related record is saved and meets criteria. However, we have Case Validation Rules that this process runs into every once in a while and also this one "Record rolled back because not all records were valid and the request was using AllOrNone header --- for SFDC record with ID..." Has anyone else run into this issue and have a resolution they could share? Much appreciated.
Please Vote - this would save so much time. We've got a pretty heavily automated sales process and as our users are training/learning we're getting a lot of duplicate opps.

Is anyone using Enhanced Notes in Lightning Experience and getting questions from their users on how to navigate from the Note to the related items? When viewed on mobile or Salesforce classic, you can navigate to the related records, but we have not found a way in Lightning Experience. Has anyone found a workaround? If not, please vote for the idea. Thanks.

Hey everyone - please take a look at an Idea I posted. I think Admins will love this.
I am stumped on an issue related to older Activities disappearing in Lightning Experience.
Can you help?
Working on a particular record in Salesforce Classic I have lots and lots of older (closed) Activities logged against Contacts/Accounts.
When switching over to Lightning Experience, and navigating over to any of these Contacts/Accounts, the same older (closed) Activities DO NOT appear in the Past Activity timeline as expected.
I understand completely that in Lightning Experience - Activities are no longer appearing as Related Lists. Instead they are displayed in a timeline. Great. I'm cool with that.
Then why are these old, closed Activities not appearing?
Can someone help me understand this?
Thanks.

28 de jul. de 2016, 16:58 David,
I picked a major account and tested your concern in our sandbox, switching it between Classic and Lightning interfaces. The count of Activities (Open Activities & Activity History) in Classic matched with the count of Activities (Next Steps & Past Activity) in Lightning. Hence, I believe that Activities, past or open, are not disappearing when switched from Classic to Lightning as I could see activities dating all the way back to 9/8/2014. Also, I don't believe we asked Salesforce Support to extend the rolling cycle for our archived activities.
