Why is community important to you? What motivates you to contribute?
The time I stepped in the Salesforce ecosystem in 2011 there was no Trailhead and just a few resources to learn from, the biggest source was the community, it not just helped me learn and grow but also inspired me to share and help other Trailblazers in the ecosystem. I learned from others and now I am #givingback. Everything I share, every answer I give, is really a great feeling to see that is helping someone, reminds me of the time I was on the other side facing problems and trying to find someone who can help, that's motivation.
Is there one moment that stands out about your time in the Hub?
I have many actually:
- Introduction to Llamas at Nonprofit Social Hour by @Melissa Hill Dees
- Joining my first #Community Sprints and meeting #Sprinty
- Got a appreciation message for an answer by the person who asked the question
- Answering the question answered by sir @Steve Molis and still got the best answer
- Co-leading the International Sprint Programming sub-group of DEI Initiatives all thanks to @Brittany Daley
- Got a chance to Interview @Selina Suarez, CEO PepUp Tech while working with Eco-wide Coalition group of OSC Sprint
Anything else you’d like to share about yourself and your Salesforce journey?
Akash Mishra is leading the “New Delhi, In Salesforce Nonprofit User Group” from past 3 years and he is an open source community sprinter and co leader for International Sprint Programming sub-group of DEI Initiatives. He is working as a Technical Lead at @Dazeworks with a total experience of 9+ years developing over the Salesforce Platform, he is Salesforce Lightning Champion, Salesforce Certified Developer and Certified Administrator and serving the Salesforce community from past 6 years. Greater association with non-profits and educational institutions in India, evangelizing, motivating and inspiring to learn and to be successful with Salesforce. He is the core team member of IndiaDreamin in 2017-18 and also a co-organiser of NonprofitDreamin in 2021.

Why is community important to you? What motivates you to contribute?
When I was starting out as a solo admin, the community was the only place I could get answers to my Salesforce questions as well as geek out with fellow nerds (Trailblazers hadn't been coined yet) on things such as s-controls. (R.I.P) I contribute where I can to help someone else get unstuck, move forward with their day, and do more awesome things with Salesforce.
Is there one moment that stands out about your time in the Hub?
The Friday #Coffee Chat during this pandemic have been a greatly appreciated social destress. I never would have heard about it if it wasn't for Lizzy and Anne's announcement in the Hub! Plus it's just great to see friendly faces and put actual faces to names I've seen around so much. A close second is when I got my limited edition Salesforce.org sweatpants in the mail. And then those quickly became my wife's sweatpants. Thief.
