I'm baffled because I have both Windows Hello and a 1pasword passkey set up on my computer. I am able to log into Salesforce with either. I can export reports using these passkeys, but when I (as an Admin) try to generate a temporary verification code for another user, my computer suddenly doesn't recognize any of my passkeys.
If I click on "Verify Your Identity", nothing happens. If I click it enough times, it logs me out and I have to log in again with my passkey.
I don't understand why I can use my passkey for other logins/verifications, but this step doesn't seem to recognize it. Can anyone help?

While troubleshooting the same issue for our org, I came across some other threads that recommended trying to generate the verification code on Salesforce Classic instead of lightning, and that worked for me. Seems like lightning is bugged after the passkey change. Wanted to pass it along since I found your post first while searching ๐ซก
