๐Ÿš€ ApexGuru is Now GA in Salesforce DX MCP

Good news for developers working in MCP-enabled IDEs ๐Ÿ‘‡

ApexGuru performance insights are now GA in Salesforce DX MCP and enabled by default under the scale-products toolset.

You can now run: scan_apex_class_for_antipatterns

Directly inside Agentforce Vibes,  Cursor, Claude Code, and other MCP-supported environments.

What you get:

  • Detection of common Apex performance antipatterns
  • Severity classification (Minor / Major / Critical)
  • Runtime-enriched prioritization when connected to a Production-backed org with ApexGuru enabled
  • Clear fix guidance directly in your IDE

Currently supported antipatterns include:

  • Schema.getGlobalDescribe usage
  • SOQL without WHERE / LIMIT
  • Unused SOQL fields

More antipatterns will continue to roll out incrementally.

If your Production org has ApexGuru enabled, any connected child org can leverage runtime telemetry to prioritize real hotspots โ€” not just theoretical risks.

๐Ÿ“Ž Setup guide, demo video, release notes, and configuration steps are linked in the comments.

Would love to hear feedback from the community as you start using it.
