The "Power of One" technique

First bow and give thinks to the DemiGod of Analytics Tom Tobin.

Then create a new custom field on every object that you want to report on.

Select:

Datatype = FORMULA

Result = NUMBER (0 decimals)

Formula = 1 that's it, just a number one.

Then add the new "Power of One" fields to your reports and select Summarize(SUM) and behold!

Updating Your Success Community Profile

We excited to announce new features to the Success Community! The three features are Endorsements, Announcements and Private Messages.

With Endorsements you now have the ability to endorse members as "Knowledgeable People." When you click on a Topic you will now see a leader board in the left sidebar displaying individuals that have spoken often about the Topic. This is a great way for our community to find experts on any given subject. The more Endorsements, the higher ranked that individual will be as an expert on any given Topic.

Announcements is a new action (similar to file, link and post) available to Group Owners and Managers within their respective groups. Announcements is akin to a sticky post that highlights key information in the left sidebar under the group photo and above the Information and Description sections. Announcements comes with an expiration date that you can set before the Announcement is removed from the highlighted section.

And finally Private Messaging is now available to connect directly with any member in the community. We place great trust in you that this will not be abused.
