How to create a connection to a DB hosted on private cloud without Tableau Bridge in a secured manner. We have multiple DBs hosted on a private cloud and we need to know how we can connect tableau cloud to the same without tableau bridge.
#Tableau Cloud
Option 1: If you are using AWS, you can use Private Connect (it has a fixed cost, and also a per consumption cost)
https://help.tableau.com/current/online/en-us/private_connect_setup_overview.htmOption 2: The second option is that your database should be allowed from the Tableau Cloud Ips:
https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/publish_tableau_online_ip_authorization.htmOption 3: Use Tableau Bridge. Basically the Bridge Clients need access to the internet and to your databases. An interesting approach is described here:

https://itnext.io/tableau-install-tableau-bridge-to-access-database-server-in-a-private-network-7af73e195e9bUnfortunatelly, there is not an inbuilt option to configure VPN or Proxy in Tableau Cloud.
