I'm trying to embed tableau into our sharepoint and while looking up on how to do that I found this documentation:

The documentation says to copy the webpart file ( TableauEmbeddedView) to sharepoint server, from
\Program Files\Tableau\Tableau Server\packages\extras.<version_code>\embedding\sharepoint\
We use AD. However I'm not seeing the extras.<version_code> folder in the initial node or other machines in the cluster, and can't find the webpart file.
Is the documentation still valid and up to date ? or is there another way to embed tableau into sharepoint ?
Tableau Server version is 2023.3.1 and sharepoint is 2013
Any thoughts and experience with it ?

I talked to support and they said that webpart file and folder was removed in 2023 version, I'm assuming because sharepoint 2013 is old.
You're right in grabbing the share link for Sharepoint Online, but that's a different sharepoint version.
Do you know if the viewers can see the embedding without being a Tableau user for Sharepoint online site and if they need specific permissions or licenses for it ?
