How do I search for my first Tableau job?

Question

Hello Community,

I'm changing my career path and am searching for an opportunity in the field of Data Analytics. I'm currently taking training in Tableau and am looking to get my foot in the door when I'm finished. Can you offer advice on how I should search for a first-time opportunity?

Hi @Osman Muneer    @Alan Murray put up a good list recently of some available jobs   https://tableaujobs.substack.com/p/latest-tableau-jobs-19-03-2021   If you are looking to demonstrate your skills or improve I strongly recommend using Tableau Public also as a place to showcase your work.   Best of luck   David

Hi Susan,   Thanks for your reply. I'm located in Dallas and I agree with you that the best way for me to get my foot in the door would probably start out as a contractor and work my way into a permanent position. If you know of any good recruiters or Hiring Managers here in the DFW area, please let me know. Feel free to email me at: osman.muneer.analyst@gmail.com   Thank you, Osman
