“We can’t find a custom field named ‘Type’ on the Program object.”

Hi Trailblazers,

I'm working on the "User Management" or "Create a Custom Field and Sharing Rule" challenge in Trailhead and keep getting this error:

Here’s what I’ve already done (multiple times):

• Opened the Program object in Object Manager.
• Created a Picklist field with:
  • Field Label: Type
  • Field Name: Type
  • Values:

• nginx

CopyEditCampus Outreach  Development  Research

Made it Visible to all profiles during creation.

• Created a criteria-based sharing rule:
  • Label: Campus Outreach Programs
  • Rule Name: Campus_Outreach_Programs
  • Field: Type
  • Operator: equals
  • Value: Campus Outreach
  • Share with: Role = Recruiter
  • Access: Read/Write

Still, the error says the field is missing. I’ve deleted and recreated everything multiple times, even switched browsers and orgs.
