1. I am facing issue related to project while i am changing status to 'Canceled' on Project then it automatically change back to 'Active' status.(I have deactivate 'Active' status value on Project, Milestone and Task)
a. Also, update its Milestone and Task status as well
2. So, the question is, While i update status to 'Canceled' status need to be 'Canceled' instead of 'Active'
3. Also, I have created custom trigger on 'Task(Milestone)' object as per custom requirement and i have use 'Project.Status' field in this custom trigger only for check condition.
4. Also, can you please suggest is there any configuration on Milestone Setting ?

Another setting that can impact the stage of a Task/Milestone would be: Auto Milestone/Task Completion
When enabled:
-If a milestone is complete, all of the tasks belonging to the milestone will be marked as complete.
-If all of the tasks belonging to a milestone are complete the milestone will be marked complete.
This can cause the stage field to change, and if you are seeing unexpected changes to the stage it would be recommended to disable this as a troubleshooting step
