Just testing out Salesforce shield feature. Specifically, the event monitor's transaction security policies. I know there is a system permission that can exempt users from being affected by all policies (except for log in ) but can I filter it even more? For example, standard users are blocked from all data get requests, but x profiled users can be allowed to use list view etc.

Have you looked into Apex based transaction policies, i believe they should be more flexible and should help meet your need. Link
