Looking for some help! I have been stuck on the last challenge for this Superbadge unit. I'm afraid I deleted the edited the original quote and now I don't know what the original configuration was.

Challenge: Next up is TerraGlobal Sunshine USA. This deal is a big one! There’s already one complete quote in the system, but the deal isn't moving forward. Because of the size of the deal, you’re hoping to extend a discount and close the deal. Create a new quote that reflects a 10% line item discount on the solar panel sets. Review the UMS sales process requirements for big quotes. Make sure that the quote with the discount is syncing to the opportunity record and use US dollars as the currency for this deal.

Error Message: We can't find a second quote for the TerraGlobal Sunshine deal with the correct configuration.

This superbadge seems to have a number of bugs / misleading info:

    1) Confirmed - ignore this instruction!  Will pass if you rename any Opps:

    • The name of new opportunities must start with the following format: Account - Amount. If the company has more than one division, the opportunity name should include the division, with the format Account Division - Amount.

    2) I can't confirm that the 10% Line Item bug is true (make sure you're looking at the right deal), but I can confirm it will pass if you add it to all 3 (even though that's not what the instructions say). I assume it only checks the Solar Panels line item.

    3) None of this is relevant to anything... Not sure why it's mentioned at all, except to just throw you off and have you waste time looking for things that don't matter:

    • Opportunities should be associated with, or refer back to, any relevant marketing campaigns whenever possible.
    • If a deal is in an incorrect stage, it is allowed for the record to be updated to a prior stage in the sales process.
    • A special note for big deals: A quote for any opportunity over 1 million needs to be submitted for approval.

    4) Remember that the quote Discount field is not a %.  It's a dollar amount!  Yeah, I just wasted 2 hours on this. I'm already so used to CPQ where discounts are calculated and percentage fields on line items... Apparently not how it's done with standard Salesforce quotes! 🙄
