In our org we integrate Salesforce and and Google calendars and email. Most of our users have installed the sales force chrome extension. Einstein activity is turned on in an integrated with Google. Within the last six months I have noticed that every time an event is created in Google calendar both an event and a task are created for it in Salesforce.  I cannot figure out why the task is getting created. Here's what I've tried

  • I have gone through every single one of my flows to see where I create tasks and if that could be the issue and have found nothing.
  • I have disabled my chrome extension
  • I have turned off Einstein activity from my account. I've even removed the permissions from my user.
  • I have tried turning off the flows I have that trigger on tasks.

None of these steps have caused the task to stop being created Even when the event has been stopped from being created. that's right, Even when the events are not synchronizing the task gets created. I have tried looking at logs. I have looked through my triggers. I am so stumped.

Does anyone have any ideas what can be going on or what I could look at to give me some clues?

Thanks for responding. We aren't using anything like Pabbly (the video), but I watched anyway in case I got some ideas. I didn't.  The user that created the calendar event in google is the one who one the task is assigned to. It's also the created by and last modified by person.
