I am trying to calculate ARR on the Quote Line level and then roll that value up to the Quote.

My price rule formula contains Prorate Multiplier which is calculated after 'On Calculate' (I believe), so my price rule to calculate QL ARR has to be on 'After Calculate'. If I want to use a Summary variable to roll this value up, I have to put it's price rule on 'After Calculate' as well. This causes an issue where a Quote has to be calculated twice for the rollup to reflect changes.

Any solutions? Seems like I'm missing something.

    Hi,

    I had a similar issue and could not use Roll up summaries also. We calculate the subscription term in a formula field.

    ROUND(

    /*YEAR*/

    ((YEAR(SBQQ__EndDate__c)-YEAR(SBQQ__StartDate__c))*12) +

    /*MONTH*/

    (MONTH(SBQQ__EndDate__c)-MONTH(SBQQ__StartDate__c)) +

    /*DAY*/

    (DAY(SBQQ__EndDate__c)-DAY(SBQQ__StartDate__c)+1)/

    /*DAYS IN MONTH END DATE*/

    (DAY(

    DATE(

    YEAR(SBQQ__EndDate__c),

    IF(MONTH(SBQQ__EndDate__c) + 1=13,1,MONTH(SBQQ__EndDate__c) + 1),

    1)- 1)),4)

    Then we use that in our ARR formula field on the Quote line ((SBQQ__NetPrice__c * SBQQ__Quantity__c )/( Subscription_Term_Calculated__c))*12 , and that has seemed to work along with using a summary variable and using that to total up the ARR on the Quote level.
