In your Excel instance, turn off "protected view." I read through all the various grumps and explanations etc, hit upon that one which seemed the easiest, and indeed it works fine. Don't wait for a fix.

Still looking for a fix for "this file is corrupt" when I try to export and print from reports: printable view. When I export directly to excel, my formatting is often lost.
