Create record Quick Actions are super clean for creating new related records, like a new Opportunity from the current Contact page.
But...every time I think of a new create record Quick Action I want to add to an object, (like creating an Opp with a new record type), it seems that I have to:
1. Add the Quick Action to the Quick Actions section of the page layout and save.
2. Revert the LE Actions section to defaults (the little arrow at far right on this section)
3. Override the default LE Actions section - this causes the Quick Action to be "inherited" to LE Actions.
4. Remove all the LE Actions that came pre-provided with Lightning, which I do not use and do not want my users to see (and there are many, and it is hard to figure out which are and are not visible). I have to do this step every time I add another Quick Action because reverting in step 2 adds all the default LE Actions back.
Am I missing the correct, easy way to add a create record Quick Action?
